Fit Feet Program

So far so good! I'm just a couple weeks in but I like the program and the pace it goes.

I’m slowly working my way through the program (slower than the recommended pace). It’s interesting to think of your feet as complicated, yet realize on day 1 of the program that the essential basics are what’s lacking. I’m a type-A who is finally learning that slow and steady is a better approach. This program is beautifully thought out and structured over a series of weeks. Basics first (eg isolating toes, breathing) before complex. Your schedule is laid out for you, which makes it simple
to follow and stay engaged. It’s been a humbling experience for me so far, which is a great thing. It’s made “reprogramming” movement a simpler task, and I’m grateful to have GH guiding me in this non-judgmental and incremental program.

I've felt improvement in my hips when walking since starting the fit feet program. I'd experienced tightness in my right hip, but noticed more freedom when walking a long distance yesterday.I'm just starting phase 2.

Really good - I've only been doing it for two weeks and I am starting to notice a real difference. e.g., Although I can still barely lift my little toes, I can ever so slightly feel them starting to wake up, which seems bizarre at first since they've been unused for so long (my entire life?). Overall, my feet are getting more mobile and stronger for sure.

I think the program is just plain cool. e.g., I love the looks on people's faces when I enter the gym and take my shoes off and start exercising my feet. In fact, because of this program, I actually started going to the gym just to work out my feet. I still work-out other non feet parts at the gym, but now I do them shoe-less! Which gets me weird stares. lol But I kinda like that. :)

This program has been helpful in strengthening both my feet and legs. I had issues being able to do exercises that needed me to use the arch muscles of my feet. For some reason I can't seem to do this. I wish there was other guidance if you can't do a movement. Or perhaps it would help if they offered alternative exercises if you were struggling with items like this. Another example would be the single leg RDL. I did the whole program, and this exercise was prescribed at the end, yet I couldn't do that exercise at all. I'd just fall over. Guidance on how to get there if you are struggling would be very helpful to get the full impact of the program.
